Twentieth Century Fox is finally putting the pedal to the metal on Chronicle 2, the sequel to the sleeper hit movie directed by Josh Trank.
According to Deadline, the studio has hired Jack Stanley to write the script.
The first Chronicle, a found-footage film, starred Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell, Michael B. Jordan and Michael Kelly and was produced by Davis Entertainment. The film cost $12 million and grossed $126 million worldwide.
In it, “Whilst attending a party, three high school friends gain superpowers after making an incredible discovery underground. Soon, though, they find their lives spinning out of control and their bond tested as they embrace their darker sides.“
