‘Afflicted’ Clip Runs Crazy Fast

Now in limited theaters and on VOD platforms via CBS Films is Clif Prowse and Derek Lee’s Afflicted (read our review), which looks like a cross between V/H/S and Chronicle.

We now have another clip from the pic starring Clif Prowse, Derek Lee, Edo Van Breemen, Zachary Gray and Baya Rehaz. In the footage, the “afflicted” individual tests out his new-found superpowers and runs at a crazy high speed. Try keeping up…

This terrifying horror thriller follows two best friends who set out on the trip of a lifetime around the world. Their journey, documented every step of the way, soon takes a dark and unexpected turn after an encounter with a beautiful woman in Paris leaves one of them mysteriously afflicted.

Just a personal opinion, I didn’t really like this movie much….the opening 20 mins, I was all in, but I disliked too much from there on. Also, it felt as though the director just saw Chronicle and ripped it right off, except with the storyline in this one, which I saw coming from a mile away. Had some cool stuff in it, but overall, not very pleased with it.

K-Dogg, i’m hoping to watch this tonight (despite my hatred of most hand held/”found footage” movies). you and i tend to like the same movies/things so i’m not sure about this movie. right from the start from the trailer i thought this kinda looked very CHRONICLE-ish. you confirmed that for me.

DBZ vampires AND found footage… Wow that’s some real original stuff they have there.
