I really dug What We Do In The Shadows at this year’s Stanley Fest (as you can probably tell by my review). And while this trailer does a nice job of getting the basic gist of the film across, it by no means contains the film’s funniest jokes. Those are still left unspoiled.
Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s film is so character specific that most of the humor comes from getting to know these people and then seeing their desires either fulfilled or dashed. So dig the trailer, but know that there’s more.
