During the film panel for the film adaptation of Joe Hill’s Horns, the writer revealed that Universal Pictures is currently developing his long-gestured “Locke and Key” as a trilogy.
Both Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s series from IDW Publishing is currently being adapted by Albert Torres, as previously reported earlier this month.
The incredible “Locke & Key” tells of three siblings who, after the gruesome murder of their father, move to their ancestral home in Maine. They soon discover the house has magical keys that give the bearers a vast array of powers and abilities. Little do they know (but they soon will) that a devious demon also wants the keys.
Two years ago, FOX Television had premiered the pilot episode of a “Locke & Key” series, which would eventually be passed on by the suits at FOX.
