Tim Daniel and Medhi Cheggour have assembled one hell of an answer to the typical monster destruction story. Usually these types of stories are ones of destruction, the spectacle of eradicating the world takes center stage and over the top monsters are the main drive of the series, but with ‘Enormous’ there is heart. That’s the one thing that elevates it beyond everything that came before. This is not of destruction and the end of civilization, but about what’s come next.
Speaking of what comes next, ‘Enormous’ #2 only dropped earlier today and our own Torin Chambers loved it. Saying “‘Enormous’ shows no signs of slowing down or becoming dull anytime soon, if ever. Giant monster books are generally all spectacle and no substance, but ‘Enormous’ breaks that mold with stellar writing in addition to its dazzling spectacle. I can’t recommend it enough.”
