Iconic Slashers Animated Into “Scooby-Doo” Villains!

What if horror greatest villains were in former episodes of “Scooby-Doo”?

That question has been realized allegedly by artist IBTrav, who saw his Captain Spaulding art shared by Rob Zombie on his official Facebook page.

This spawned a series of responses sharing other pieces of art that put “Scooby-Doo” face-to-face with Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and Ghostface, among many others. My personal favorite thing about the art is the creator’s animation touch – just look at Pamela Voorhees’ head drawn as if it were a hand-painted background that the animation cel would be placed over. This is super cool stuff.

What if Shaggy’s soul was swallowed? That’s the kind of world I want to live in…

For a diehard Scooby and horror fan, this is a wet dream! Brand new wallpapers!

I would like to see one of those classic horror villains in a Scooby-Doo episode.

  • SuperKilla

    This is awesome!

  • I made it to Bloody Disgusting’s pages! SCHWEET! This is me, the creator of the Scooby spoofs. Could you update my name in the article so I can brag to all my friends? Thanks so much guys!

    • macguffin54

Why doesn’t Michael Myers get a cameo with the Scooby gang?

      • RidleyScottIsADirector@gmail.c

Michael is smack dab in the middle with probably the second largest picture.

  • Steven Hunt

    No Sadako? 🙁

  • David Tucker

Travis- your artwork rocks! These made my day! Keep up the good work; I’m excited to see what else you crank out!

  • RidleyScottIsADirector@gmail.c

There’s something really disturbing about the last one with Jason and Velma.

  • Christopher Pelton

Those are pretty sweet right there.

  • Thanks guys! There is definitely more to come.
Steven Hunt….don’t rule out Sadako just yet 😉

  • Sick_skwerl

Made me think of this pic. I had an artist, Nathan Thomas Milliner, who has done work for HorrorHound Magazine and Scream Factory do this for my oldest last Christmas since he looks like Shaggy. Travis your work is great!!

  • Guest

Travis, your art is great! Made me think of this I had done by Nathan Thomas Milliner for my son last Christmas because he looks like Shaggy.

  • Haha that’s awesome Vince. Leatherface is definitely in the works and I’ve thought about Pennywise. More Lost Mysteries to come…keep yer eyes peeled!

  • Jeremy Bradley

Great stuff! Maybe the Creeper truck chasing down the Mystery Machine?

  • Guest

they look awesome,I just wish their was an actual episode of this I can watch, here is one of my art version

  • Rick Tanchyk

Only thing that would make this perfect, although “technically” not a slasher, would be Fred in Dexter Morgan’s “Kill Room”, maybe pics of all the women he’s wronged hung up……

  • Nick Greeley

The Ghostface one actually happened! I believe the episode was called “Scream 3”.

  • Wow, these are coolest. As a 90’s kid, I grew up with the Scoob and the gang and the rest of the iconic faces so this is candy to me! Definitely sharing! An episode with Spaulding or Bateman would be nuts!!!

    • Noah Whateley

You do know that Scoob’s been on the air since the ’60s, right? The whole “as a ’90s kid” thing is irrelevant.

In fact, I just looked it up, the ’90s were the only decade since its invention that the Gang wasn’t making new episodes.

      • Lol I’m not an idiot, Noah they have clearly been around way before the 90’s. I was just describing growing up watching them as they were still on the air during the 90’s in their original form as now they have newly designed Scooby Doo shows but thanks for the as-a-matter-of-factly response Wikipedia.

  • VictorCrowley

Things are lookin’ bad for Velma in that Jason pic.
