More gems continue to come out of the explosive Sony leaks, this time with mega news pulled from an email from one of many Sony executives.
According to the site, Fox is planning a Xmen and Fantastic Four crossover film.
Fox’s new The Fantastic Four is set for release on August 7, 2015, and will follow the “Ultimate Fantastic Four” story arc. Bryan Singer is once again directing the X-Men with Age of Apocalypse. There have been no connections between the universes, although it’s been said this would be the final X-Men film in the “new” trilogy. Maybe that’s where Fox will begin to create their own Avengers-style universe?
Part of the same story, it was revealed that Sony apparently has big plans of their own for Spider-Man, although they don’t appear to be able to see through their own fog. They want to re-reboot the franchise, while also giving Venom his own story, as well as the Sinister Six.
A lot has to go right for that to work, but the wheels are turning…
