The joke began years ago with the “shredding” videos (you have to see Metallica “shred”), in which music videos were dubbed with bad vocals, as well as god-awful guitar and drum play.
Now, movie trailers and clips from various films are getting the same foley treatment.
One of the best I’ve seen in quite some time is the music-less video for Ray Parker, Jr.’s Ghostbusters theme from 1984.
I burst into laughter every single time Parker’s apparition appears and snaps his way across the floor. This is pure comic gold!
