Have you ever wondered what it would be like if your favorite 80’s horror films where adapted into children’s books?
Andrew Peña of BuzzFeed wondered the same thing, and used his artistic talents to realize such absurdity.
Below you’ll find a series of covers, with my personal favorite being “Goodnight Freddy”, an adaptation of Wes Craven’s A Nightmare On Elm Street that Peña describes as “the perfect bedtime story for your little one who is afraid to go to sleep.”
Another classic is The Fly adaptation, “What’s Happening to My Body”, which is “An excellent book for any boy who is experiencing changes in their appearance,” says Peña. “It also teaches about self esteem and confidence when it comes to girls.”
Which is your favorite?
