A Game of the Year edition of The Evil Within was outed this week by a listing on Amazon France.
The online retail juggernaut has been a consistently reliable source for this sort of news, especially when it comes to re-releases. In January, the site broke news of a Indigo Prophecy remaster before it was official, and before that, Amazon France listed a The Last of Us-themed PS4 bundle.
We still aren’t privy to any sales figures for The Evil Within, but even if it didn’t sell as well as expected, GOTY editions are cheap enough that even a middling success stands a decent chance of getting one, as long as it saw enough DLC to warrant a re-release. So while this has yet to be confirmed by Bethesda, I suspect they’ll make it official shortly.
