Bethesda confirmed there will be no co-op option for the campaign, which will be sticking to the series’ roots in solo demon whoopassery. Fortunately, the new SnapMap modding tools will give players the option of making their own maps, and those will support co-op.
In related news, Doom executive producer Marty Stratton revealed to GameSpot that id Software is intent on getting the game to run at 1080p and 60 frames per second. That’s smooth.
