With the new SnapMap modding utility that’s being introduced in next year’s Doom reboot, id Software hopes we’ll use the tools they worked super hard on to build stuff. Many fans weren’t too happy with the story mode’s lack of co-op support. Grabbing a buddy so you have someone to hold down those finicky Cyberdemons while you practice your curb stomps is still something you can do.
Doom isn’t expected to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One until early next year, so there’s sufficient time left to start considering your own creations. That’s what I’ll be doing.
