It’s been two weeks now and I still can’t believe I’m watching Ash kick Deadite ass on a weekly basis.
Last night Starz aired the insanely gory second episode of “Ash vs Evil Dead,” in which Special Agent Fisher begins tracking Ash (who is described as handsom, yet “dumb looking”), while a revelation changes Kelly’s life forever. It’s clear at this point that Ash, played by Bruce Campbell, knows what’s cooking and won’t let anything get by him.
Next on “Ash vs Evil Dead,” in episode 1.03, ‘Books From Beyond,’ we are introduced to Lucy Lawless, a mysterious woman finds the destruction at Kelly’s parents’ farm. Meanwhile, Ash, Pablo and Kelly reach Books from Beyond with the Necronomicon and Fisher finds herself in another terrifying, inexplicable situation.
The big question the trailer poses is, what the hell are they going to resurrect?!
While “Ash vs Evil Dead” continues to exceed expectations, I’m literally blown away by how phenomenal it looks on my television. Waiting another week for the story to continue is beyond painful as I just want to binge watch them over and over again.
