Fox Can’t Decide on a Name For Their “Frankenstein” Series

The Frankenstein Code

Once a trailer has been released, isn’t that when you think to yourself, “Okay. We’ve committed to a name. Now let’s focus on other things because it’s out there and that’s how people now know us“? Maybe I’m crazy in thinking that’s how things usually go.

Fox has announced that their Frankenstein-inspired series has a new name: “Second Chance“. Originally titled “The Frankenstein Code” and then later dubbed “Lookinglass”, this is the third time that the name has changed, although I’m not sure that it’s any better than the first option, although I think it’s loads better than the second.

The show is a modern reimagining of the classic tale by Mary Shelley. The show follows a 75-year old man who is brutally murdered only to be brought back to life as a much younger man by two scientists.

Rob Kazinsky will play the main character, Jimmy Pritchard, with Dilshad Vadsaria and Adhir Kalyan playing the two scientists Mary and Otto Goodwin, respectively.

The show is set to premiere in January 2016.
