Bruce Campbell, who plays Ash in Starz’s ongoing “Ash vs Evil Dead,” tweeted out a “leaked” script page from “Ash vs Walking Dead.”
Shared is the final page of the faux screenplay that takes us to the moment Rick Grimes wakes up from the hospital and realizes the world has been destroyed. Only, things are different from the pilot episode of “The Walking Dead” – Ash is waiting outside with his 1973 Oldsmobile Delta Royale, and in perfect fashion, takes credit for “taking care of the zombie apocalypse.” True to Ash’s character, we all know he probably fucked it all up, which is how the series could continue.
I love this alternate universe, and just like “Freddy vs Jason vs Ash,” maybe we can get this is comic book form?!
Oh, and the coffee stain is a nice touch, and an excellent homage to Sam Raimi’s Darkman.
