I love Amazon Prime because you basically get a free streaming service to with your free shipment on orders.
Sure, you’ve got Netflix, but Amazon offers some quality content as well: check out “Mad Dogs” if you need proof.
Anyways, Amazon’s streaming service added four films from a pair of franchises.
If you’ve never seen the 2000 American Psycho, starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne Patrick Bateman, you’re mising one of the best psychological thrillers ever made. If I catch even 30 seconds of the film, from any point, I have to finish it.
Directed by Mary Harron, Bale plays a wealthy New York investment banking executive who hides his alternate psychopathic ego from his co-workers and friends as he delves deeper into his violent, hedonistic fantasies. It’s a way more open-ended interpretation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel of the same name that’s one of my personal favorite films of all time.
Oh, and Lionsgate made a pretty okay sequel in 2002 called American Psycho II: All American Girl, starring Mila Kunis, William Shatner, and Geraint Wyn Davies. Kunis plays a girl named Rachael Newman who has developed a taste for murder and will stand at nothing to become a college professor’s assistant. It’s also been added to Amazon Prime.

Queue up both Ghostbusters and its sequel to prime yourself for Paul Feig’s reboot coming this summer.
Both films shouldn’t need introduction – and if they do, I can only assume you haven’t seen films like Jurassic Park or Alien either. Get on it.
