[Exclusive] “The Exorcist” Episode 9 Clip is a Head-Spinning Reunion

Let’s give ’em a good show.”

The penultimate episode of the first season of “The Exorcist” airs this Friday night on FOX, and if you’ve been watching, you know that things are getting pretty damn crazy. In Episode 8, Regan MacNeil/Angela Rance (Geena Davis) gave Captain Howdy what he has always wanted most: her body. Angela invited Captain Howdy in for the sake of her daughter Casey being freed from the prison that is demonic possession, and at the tail end of the episode, a fully possessed Angela killed her own mother by twisting her head 180-degrees and pushing her down the stairs.

What’s next? Now that Regan/Angela has once more become a vessel for Captain Howdy, the demon gets to resume the horror that began way back in 1973. In this exclusive clip from this Friday night’s brand new episode, we revisit a scene from Episode 8 through the eyes of Angela, taking us back to the moment when she finally agreed to let Captain Howdy take over her body.

I’ve had the pleasure of previewing the new episode and let me just say that watching Geena Davis playing evil is a real treat. This show, against all odds, keeps getting better and better.
