‘From a House on Willow Street’ Trailer Loaded With Nightmarish Makeup Effects

Evil has an address.

In last year’s Don’t Breathe, a group of young friends broke into a house and found themselves quickly in way over the heads. The characters in this year’s From a House on Willow Street, well, they’ve also made a choice that they’re going to live (and die) to regret. They’ve decided to kidnap the daughter of a rich man, you see, but there’s something not quite right about her.

In the Alastair Orr-directed horror film, which stars You’re Next‘s Sharni Vinson:

After a young woman is kidnapped, her captors soon come to realize that in fact they may be the ones in danger and this young woman has a dark secret inside her.

Our own Benedict Seal reviewed From a House on Willow Street out of UK’s FrightFest last year, and he praised the creepy visuals that are very much on display in the trailer. “The demon has the ability to bring its victims’ worst nightmares to life and these horrific creations are well designed,” Seal wrote. “There are some nice visuals to match the bloody make-up effects.”

Check out the poster art and aforementioned trailer below. Look for this one soon.

The cast also includes Carlyn Burchell, Gustav Gerdener, Zino Ventura, and Steven John Ward.

    When is this one out?

Wondering the same. I don’t like it when they tease a film like this, and give no indication of when it will become available to the general public. Unless they really don’t know, in which case they should say so.

  • Looks crazy and Sharni is always a plus.

Did anyone else think this was trying to be like the Evil Dead remake trailer (especially “you’re all going to die tonight”)? Anyway, looks okay. I’m in!
