A24 Drops Eerie Teaser Trailer for ‘It Comes at Night’

From the studio that brought you The Witch and Green Room.

Movie trailers these days contain more spoilers than you’ll ever find on your social media feeds, so when a new one comes along that keeps everything secret and mysterious, we can’t help but applaud it. Such is the case with A24’s first teaser for Trey Edward Shults’ It Comes at Night, which spoils so little that it’s guaranteed to leave you hungry to unlock the film’s secrets.

Color us intrigued. Very intrigued. Check it out below.

In the film…

A man (Joel Edgerton) learns that the evil stalking his family home may be only a prelude to horrors that come from within.

Secure within a desolate home as an unnatural threat terrorizes the world, the tenuous domestic order he has established with his wife and son is put to the ultimate test with the arrival of a desperate young family seeking refuge.

Despite the best intentions of both families, paranoia and mistrust boil over as the horrors outside creep ever-closer, awakening something hidden and monstrous within him as he learns that the protection of his family comes at the cost of his soul.

Look for this one on June 9th.

Riley Keough, Carmen Ejogo, Christopher Abbot, and Kelvin Harrison Jr. also star.

Red doors mean bad. Joel Edgerton means good.

That poster is fantastic…and the trailer gives nothing away (a novelty in itself).

ok, for some reason i completely spaced on the fact that the “unnatural threat” listed in the synopsis was referring to a supernatural(?) threat. i should have figured it out by noticing the almost solid black eyes in several possessed looking characters in the trailer….and i guess there is at least 1 spoiler(?) in this trailer….

we know what happens to his character (unless it’s a dream sequence). the movie still looks great though!

This looks great ! Also Krisha was an interesting movie and A24 and Joel Edgerton are normally a sign of quality xD. I also love that kind of movies with a small setting and focused in characters.
