“Ash vs. Evil Dead” Has a New Teen to Torment

Australian actress Arielle Carver-O’Neill (Predestination) has booked a series regular role on the upcoming third season of Starz’s “Ash vs. Evil Dead”, Deadline reports.

Season 2 of the series, which stars Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless, found Ash (Campbell) leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby (Lawless), and the former enemies must form an uneasy alliance as the town becomes the nucleus of evil.

Carver-O’Neill plays Brandy, a smart middle-class American high school senior whose life is up-ended when she finds herself caught up in violent demonic events.

“Ash vs Evil Dead’s” third season is currently filming in New Zealand with a release set for this fall on Starz.

Meanwhile im still waiting for them to announce Jane Levy back as Mia

Jane Levy appearing as Mia in Ash Vs Evil Dead would be awesome. I’d like them to show the end of the reboot, with Mia walking in the road but it’s Ash and the Ghostbeaters who pick her up. One mechanical upgrade later from Pablo and she has a new cyber arm.

Yes! I was also imagining the episode starting with Mia walking down the road (they can use the unused scene from the 2013 film) but instead of a random old guy have Ash and the gang find her.

Then build the story from there. Honestly just adding such a great actress in Jane Levy to the cast would only benefit the show. And she can do both comedy and horror extremely well.

She could be the out of place traumatized character who isnt looking to make any friends or bond with anyone in the group (lets be honest after what happened at the cabin she would be pretty nuts)

I think Mia should turn into the big bad when she finds out everything is actually Ash’s fault and she rips open a new portal to hell to try and travel back in time to kill young Ash.

That would be interesting. I was wondering if Mia should be more good than evil if she was introduced. They have so many possibilities with time travel in the ED universe that really anything goes.

She could work as an anti hero but it would require some nifty story telling since at the stage she is left after the 2013 film she wouldn’t pose much of a threat unless she was possessed.

In an ideal world we would have had a sequel to the 2013 film by know expanding on Mia’s story making her more of an ass kicker thus a bigger possible threat to Ash.

I gave up on this mid way through last season …’s just silly and repetitive and was getting on my nerves … I alone in thinking this ?

      I really hope so.

        How Rude !! lol

When everything else is gloom and doom, I can always count on ASH VS. THE EVIL DEAD to remind me that at least one perfect thing exists in this world.
