Filming began last month on director Shane Black’s brand new franchise installment The Predator, and it didn’t take long for Black to start sharing images from the set. We saw the first photo of the main characters literally the day that filming began, and Black just took to Twitter tonight to share yet another behind-the-scenes shot that shows his actors in character.
Pictured below you’ll see Alfie Allen, Keegan-Michael Key, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Boyd Holbrook, and Trevante Rhodes looking ready for battle on what looks to be a prison bus.
Stone killers with serious acting chops — but which of them will be chopped… by THE PREDATOR? (See what I did there?)
The cast also includes Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, and Olivia Munn.
Strahovski was cast as the mother to Tremblay’s character, a troubled young boy accidentally drawn into the conflict with the fierce alien creatures by her ex-husband, played by Holbrook.
Little else is know about the film, which *may* be set in the suburbs and *may* feature a 10-foot-tall, genetically-enhanced Predator. Neither of those things have been confirmed.
Black co-wrote the script with Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad).
The Predator arrives on February 9, 2018.
