‘What Remains of Edith Finch’ Comes to XBox One July 19th

Giant Sparrow’s What Remains of Edith Finch was released back in April to critical acclaim (our own Jimmy Champane loved it), and now XBox One players will be able to enjoy the game when it’s released for the system on July 19th for $19.99 USD.

From the same folks who brought us The Unfinished Swan, the game is a collection of stories centred around the titular Edith Finch, who travels back to the family home in Washington to explore her family’s past. Each story you find lets you experience the life of a family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to current day.

The guardian, the telegraph and the jimquisition aren’t high praise for anything good in my book.

    Is it scary?
It doesn’t necessarily look like a bad game but I didn’t see anything horror about it in that trailer.

The guardian, the telegraph and the jimquisition was the scariest thing in that trailer.

No it isn’t a horror game. Some of the places in the game have an eerie vibe, but it moreso plays on emotion than scares.
