‘Call Of Duty: WWII’ Nazi Zombies Trailer Leaked, Cast Announced

So, you might have heard that Activision’s Call of Duty: WWII is getting a Nazi Zombies mode. Well, it’s been announced ahead of SDCC that the 10th Doctor himself, David Tennant, will be voicing a character in the mode, along with Elektra Natchios herself, Elodie Yung. Of course, this was all supposed to be revealed at this year’s SDCC, but someone had to go and leak the trailer meant for the event.

The trailer, which was posted on YouTube, has subsequently been taken down (though you can view a mirror of the trailer here for the time being). More info is obviously expected at the July 20th panel.

Maybe I missed it – but is that the first movie/game trailer – for a Nazi related movie/game that has absolutely zero Swastika’s in it? Usually they are pretty up front with those…

    • Ocelot006 .

Don’t worry. Wolfenstein II has you covered in the swastika department.

    • Yeah, Activision has had to curb their use in order for the game to be released in Germany. For obvious reasons.

    • There’s a lot of controversy about this in the fanbase but yeah, it’s so that they can release worldwide without censorship. It is a shame because Nazi symbolism adds to the horror but at least they’re not censoring it from the campaign.

Always remember – Without George A. Romero, this wouldn’t be possible.

  • From what I could see in the leaked trailer it looks pretty amazing. I look forward to watching the full trailer.

  • CoD Zombies has been a bit of a joke for years, getting progressively sillier and more over the top with each new map, so seeing this got me very excited. It looks genuinely disturbing, gory and dark, and they lost touch of that after CoD World at War.

Call of Duty: Zombies used to be something that you looked forward too because it wasn’t bundled with every yearly iteration. I hope this team can breathe some new life into it. I do have hopes because Glen Schofield did help created the original Dead Space, which was absolutely fantastic.
