New ‘Cult of Chucky’ Image Reveals the Return of the Tiffany Doll!

This is the first we’ve seen of the Tiffany doll since 2004.

Nearly every film from the franchise is set to collide in Don Mancini’s forthcoming Cult of Chucky, which will bring together fan favorite characters like Andy Barclay and Nica Pierce. Also returning is Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany, who popped up for a surprise reveal at the tail end of previous sequel Curse of Chucky.

In addition to the human version of Tiffany appearing in the movie, so too will the iconic Tiffany doll! We last saw the Tiffany doll in 2004’s Seed of Chucky, and a new image shared over on Twitter today reveals that the doll will be back in some capacity this October. We had heard rumors, but this is a hugely exciting confirmation.

How is the doll back? Well, we’ll find out soon enough!

Cult of Chucky arrives October 3 on unrated Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital.

Brad Dourif once again provides Chucky’s voice, while his daughter, Fiona, will be reprising her Curse role. Also returning are Summer H. Howell (Curse of Chucky), Jennifer Tilly (Bride of ChuckySeed of Chucky and Curse of Chucky) and Alex Vincent, star of the first two Child’s Play films who returned in a shocking post-credits sequence in Curse. The film ended as if Mancini planned to tie the previous three films – Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky and Curse of Chucky – together in this seventh film.

In the film, “Confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. But when her psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic “tool” to facilitate his patients’ group sessions — an all-too-familiar “Good Guy” doll with an innocently smiling face — a string of grisly deaths begins to plague the asylum, and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn’t crazy after all. Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), Chucky’s now-grown-up nemesis from the original Child’s Play, races to Nica’s aid. But to save her he’ll have to get past Tiffany (Oscar-nominee Jennifer Tilly), Chucky’s long-ago bride, who will do anything, no matter how deadly or depraved, to help her beloved devil doll.

The Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital releases include two featurettes: a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, called Inside the Insanity of Chucky, and a peek into Alterian, the studio behind Chucky’s puppeteering, called Good Guy Gone Bad: The Incarnations of Chucky. The movie also comes with a commentary featuring writer-director Mancini and head puppeteer Tony Gardner.

In addition to the individual release, Cult of Chucky will be part of the Chucky: Complete 7-Movie Collection, also releasing Oct. 3.

Altough she was the best thing from Bride and Seed, I don’t think I like the idea of her in Cult, since Curse was so amazing for not having any relation with the last two sequels. I just hope Glen doesn’t make his way up to the film too.

    • Darren Hall

Unfortunately it did have a relation to Bride and Seed. Tiff appears at the end. I know what you mean though; it was delivered mainly as a ‘Chucky’ film like the original trilogy.

  • I always under appreciated Jennifer, its a shame how much she has aged past me because I finally get why everyone adored her. Im jealous that older fans got to fanboy over her while I was too busy shitting my pants afraid of the doll lol! Im glad she is returning although I don’t have high expectations for this movie, even though I am a fan of Curse (I consider anything Ive seen more than once a good film so)

  • The chicken man

I’m a little bit over Jennifer Tilly, sad to say.

    • Hardcore F’n Mudd

      I’ll never be over Jennifer.

      • I imagine that on my deathbed, I will look out at a room full of my offspring and their offspring and manage to say “Man, remember what Jennifer Tilly looked like? Goddamn.”

        • Hardcore F’n Mudd

She’ll be 183 then and still look as good as she did in Liar Liar

          • I need to find a picture of her small enough to put in a locket.

          • Hardcore F’n Mudd

            Get a bigger locket

          • I’m a pretty small woman, I don’t think that’ll work out for me, but I’ll think of something.

      • Not sure what it is about it, but her voice is damn hot.

    • Reece Catlin

can’t stand her voice! even as dole form, still love Bride of Chucky tho.

  • pablitonizer

I said it before, tiffany needs to die in this one. She’s no longer fresh and became a bit annoying to me, same his child. Time to stay focus on Chucky as a solo killer.

  • Jonathan Larsson

I am glad Tilly might play a bigger part. She’s so good ^^

  • Crow550

    Who’s Twitter posted this? That’s a major spoiler…. If this isn’t a fake.

Well see…. I have high hopes this will be a good entry.

    • John Squires

Official Twitter account for the film. It’s legit.

  • I’d be more pleased about this if they hadn’t done the whole Tiffany is played by Jennifer Tilly who gets killed to be turned into the Tiffany doll who then gets killed but comes back to life so she can get killed but not before she possess actual Jennifer Tilly who is apparently going to reappear as Tiffany the doll again for some reason. Basically the movie became too ‘meta’ for its own good.

If they’d just kept the plot more simple and Tiffany had just been a doll throughout then that might have worked better. As much as I love Jennifer Tilly, I feel like this should probably be her last outing.

    Got mine pre-ordered already

Well.. As Much As I Love Chucky.. And Jennifier Tilly.. I Think That They Should’ve Just kept Her As A doll for The Whole Series Like I Understand That Tiffany WANTED To Be Jennifer So Badly And Wanted To be A Celebrity In Seed Of Chucky But Still If She Knew she Was Going To Get Killed and Have her Soul Back Into the Doll Again Then They Should’ve Kept Her There.. However I guess We’ll Have To See When The Movie Comes Out. 🙂

Even lamer is she looks like she’s always looked and chucky just looks like a cheap knock off

  • Well that’s disappointing

  • Sulphurdew

    I love it.

Just because the doll is present, doesn’t mean she’ll be “alive”. We already saw that Tiffany (now in Tilly’s body) kept the Tiff doll around AS a doll for many years after she transferred.

  • Mark

load of shit, try watching the clips etc the human tiff which is not in tillys body gets out of that car and kills a guy that’s why there is blood on the window, that tiff doll is only there because like someone else stated that she just kept the doll around for more likely sentimental value since she was inside it lol

  • Beanis

I would love it if Christine Elise would show up as Kyle or Catherine Hicks would return as Andy’s mother.

    • Necro

I’ve been on the Catherine Hicks return since part 2! I hope she gets to come back.
