Clint Howard Playing Clown “Mr. Baggy Britches” In Rob Zombie’s ‘3 From Hell’!
Just yesterday, Rob Zombie teased the introduction of a new clown, “Mr. Baggy Britches”, in his now-filming 3 From Hell. I thought he looked a lot like Irwin Keyes‘ House of 1,000 Corpses character, Ravelli, who was seen in the opening of the film taking down a duo of local robbers alongside Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig). On the other hand, John Squires felt he looked more like Clint Howard, who appeared in Zombie’s Halloween, The Lords of Salem and even El Superbeasto. Squires has won that gentleman’s bet with Zombie confirming this morning that Howard will be portraying “Mr. Baggy Britches” in the House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects sequel, which also boasts the return of Otis (Bill Moseley) and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie). Yes, there will be two killer clowns in 3 From Hell…
Also starring is Austin Stoker (Assault on Precinct 13), Dee Wallace (E.T., The Howling, and Cujo), Jeff Daniel Phillips (Uncle Seymour Coffins in Zombie’s Halloween 2). Zombie also added another regular to his 3 From Hell cast, revealing the addition of Daniel Roebuck, who will be reprising his The Devil’s Rejects role of Morris Green, Ruggsville’s favorite TV personality.
