BioShock 2′s official website is up, and it has some interesting interactive elements to it. So head over and check it out HERE! You can see a decent amount of game play among other things. The game is out February 9th 2010, for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
So since the BD toys section took a dive into the abyss, I thought I would give you the DP video games crew a little heads up. There are going to be plenty of new toys for you to play with this holiday season. There’s big sisters, little sisters, big daddys, and project deltas. Also in wonderous news for the “I’ve gotta get the collectors edition dude” people out there, yes BioShock 2 will come in collectors form. Note the above pic. The great thing about this edition is the old school look of all the items and how well they pull it off. The Special Edition will come in 13″x13” premium packaging with special art on both the slipcase and the box cover. Inside, you will find three posters featuring vintage ads from Rapture (rolled), a vinyl 180g LP featuring the orchestral score from the original BioShock, a CD containing the BioShock 2 orchestral score, a 164 page 8″x11″ hardbound artbook chock full of developer commentary and, of course, a copy of BioShock 2. Bad bad news today on the BioShock home front. As we found out from Shacknews, BioShock 2 will be pushed back until sometime in the 1st 6 months of 2010.
“[BioShock 2's delay is] not related to any specific platform or any specific element of it,” the company later said of the forthcoming PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game. “Generally there are some development issues that we need to deal with.”

Which is actually good for us, so we can go to our Halloween parties and the play the game, instead of ditching all the parties and completely missing out on Halloween.

Crazy BioShock fans will be excited for this news, while others will be mad and say “BioShock doesn’t need multiplayer, it can stand on its own.” Well either way 2K Games announced they will be partnering with Digital Extremes to develop the multiplayer for BioShock 2.
“The fans asked for a multiplayer experience and we answered,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “With Digital Extremes delivering a multiplayer experience for BioShock 2 that features all of the things that make BioShock unique, we’re holding ourselves to a high standard so that we can deliver the depth and variety that fans of the BioShock universe demand.” READ MORE

The game is looking at an October release this year on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
Thanks to SciFi Wire we found out about the BioShock 2: Sea Of Dreams TEASER SITE. Not much info is given, a mysterious note it shown, some static, and a map with an X marked on what seems to be Ireland and the date 2/20/67 marked.
