Preview: ‘Eerie’ #1

With the recent success of Dark Horse’s horror anthology, “Creepy”, the publisher is now reviving another famous genre anthology, “Eerie”. Horror anthologies were all the rage back in the day, and they seem to be making quite the comeback. Filled with tales of terror from some of the biggest names in the business, “Eerie” will deliver tales that dabble in horrific sci-fi and fantasy. As with “Creepy”, “Eerie” will combine brand new stories, plus reprints of classics all mixed into one tight little package. Check out the preview for the first issue below which hits July 11th. Eerie Quaterly Is Back In July!

Dark Horse recently revealed their July solicitations, and on that list of threats was Eerie Quarterly #1. Following the success of their other anthology titles like “Creepy Comics” and “Dark Horse Presents”, the publisher is adding another book of horror tales to their line up. As with “Creepy”, the series will feature several short stories from various writers and artists, dealing with sci-fi horror, and dark fantasy. “Eerie” will see both brand new stories and reprints of classics in the genre. Dark Horse has nailed every anthology they’ve released in the past year and here’s to hoping “Eerie” fits right in with the rest to deliver some terrifying cosmic terror.
