When reached for comment about Metal Sucks premiering the new track “Sick and Twisted” and his thoughts on the song, GWAR’s heavily drugged up front thing had the following to say:
“This is a little ditty that pretty much sums up my feelings towards my own life and exposes my personal philosophy of complete shittiness. In this world of filth and hatred, pretty much everything is “Sick and Twisted.”
Lead singer Oderus Urungus commented on the new dates:
“More gigs? More sluts? Hoes? Drugs? Rock and roll? New York City? I’m in! But then I have to get straight back to Antarctica, I hear the local super-mutant-penguin population is out of control.”

GWAR To Appear On The Jimmy Fallon Show

Mutant overlords GWAR have finally made the leap from blood-soaked battlefields and wrecked concert halls to a realm every bit as violent and cutthroat – the realm of late night network TV. Yes, that’s right, your favorite group of fanatic furballs is set to appear on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on October 28th, playing “Zombie’s March!”, the first single from their new album “Bloody Pit of Horror”, out Nov. 9th on Metal Blade Records.
The announcement follows lead singer’s Oderus Urungus latest appearance on FOX News “Red Eye”, which was described as a “complete cock-up”, as he managed to botch just about every date he was suppose to plug.
“Well, it was my 13th time on the show-something bad was bound to happen”, said the hapless super-boob. “The correct dates are up somewhere! And I totally forgot to mention that we will be offering the entire human race the chance to see our Halloween show in Milwaukee, via the Internet…that’s right a pay per view first hand worldwide ringside seat to our sickest show of the year, and for a reasonable price as well.”
The first in-store appearance is slated for Sunday October 24th in Rochester, NY at The House Of Guitars located at 645 Titus Ave Rochester, NY 14617.  The signing takes place from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  Fans who pre-order “Bloody Pit of Horror” at The House of Guitars, will receive the booklet from “The Bloody Pit of Horror” to have signed by the members of GWAR.  Fans that pre-order the album will be granted priority line access.  For more information please call 585-544-9928.
The second in-store is set for Halloween in Milwaukee, WI at The Exclusive Company’s “Haus of Metal” located at 5026 S. 74th St. Greenfield, WI 53220. There will also be a costume contest held during this appearance, so be sure to come in costume or dressed as one of the members of GWAR for your chance to win tickets to see GWAR that night at The Rave and other prizes from GWAR and Metal Blade Records. The signing will take place from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  Fans that pre-order “Bloody Pit of Horror” will receive a copy of the booklet early to have signed by GWAR.  Fans that pre-order the album will be granted priority line access.  For more information please call 414-281-6644.  As of press time more in store appearances are being scheduled, stay tuned to GWAR.net and MetalBlade.com for more info.

Head throat thing Oderus Urungus muttered the following:
“Now it begins, the campaign of cosmic suffering that begins the second half of our super-cool 25th Anniversary of eternal hatred! There is no relenting in our assault, as soon as we got done touring “Lust in Space” we went straight into the studio and recorded our latest batch of metallic musings–where ever we go there are great deeds, and songs must be written to honor the slain…so we write a lot of material!”

Ton Of GWAR News!

The surviving inhabitants of Planet Earth breathed a collective sigh of relief as the halfway point of GWAR’s two-year long victory lap came and went with only vague reports of minor atrocities being committed in the name of the Universe’s most dangerous band. Speaking with a megaphone from a lofty parapet on the GWAR fortress, instead of proclaiming some cosmic doom, lead throat-thing Oderus Urungus took the opportunity to announce the release date of the new GWAR album, “GWAR’s Bloody Pit of Horror” (out Nov. 9th on Metal Blade Records), and more of the cities slated for destruction on the “Bloody Tour of Horror”, which begins Oct. 2nd in Baltimore, Md.

In a remarkably redundant statement, Oderus was quoted as saying “I hereby announce the release date of the new GWAR album, “GWAR’s Bloody Pit of Horror”, out Nov. 9th on Metal Blade Records, and more of the cities slated for destruction on the “Bloody Tour of Horror”, which begins Oct. 2nd in Baltimore, Maryland.”

The tour, their longest one yet, will take GWAR all over their usual stomping grounds in the U.S. and Canada, and will see the band travel across the Pacific to play their first shows in Australia and New Zealand as a part of the “No Sleep Til” tour.  Tickets are on sale starting today HERE.
