Full Blu-ray Specs For Anchor Bay’s ‘Halloween 4′ & ‘Halloween 5′!

Michael Myers is back, and he’s never looked better. On August 28th, Anchor Bay Entertainment revamps two of the most iconic horror films to ever grace the big screen with Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. The classics will be coming to blu-ray with all new HD transfers and over an hour of both archival and newly created bonus features! Check out full specs below.

‘Pet Sematary,’ ‘ Halloween 4′ & ‘Halloween 5′ Dated For Blu-ray

Some brief Blu-ray announcements starting with Paramount Home Entertainment finally giving us a high-def release of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary on Octoner 2. No specs announced, but I don’t expect any. The 1989 classic, directed by Mary Lambert, boasted the infamous tagline “Sometimes dead is better.

In addition, HalloweenMovies.com is reporting that Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers are working their way to Blu-ray later this year. They claim special features will include new commentaries, and more importantly, all new HD transfers.

Both films starred Danielle Harris as Jamie Lloyd. The fourth took place ten years after his original massacre when the invalid Michael Myers awakens and returns to Haddonfield to kill his seven-year-old niece (Harris) on Halloween. Can Dr. Loomis stop him?

Halloween V: The Revenge of Michael Myers

Fifth in the Halloween series and the fourth to feature the character of Michael Myers. It is close to Halloween 1989 and Jamie (the heroine of H4) is in Haddonfield’s Children’s Hospital after attacking her step-mother the year previously. She is being treated by Dr. Loomis with the aid of her step-sister Rachel and Rachel’s friend Tina but she hasn’t said a word since the attack but to her horror discovers that she has a mind-link to her murdering uncle, Michael who has spent the year recovering from his wounds in a coma and awakes to again go after Jamie. His plan is to lure Jamie out of the hospital by going after Tina (who is going to a Halloween party) and by murdering Rachel. Jamie knows that she must leave the hospital to save herself and with the aid of Dr. Loomis set out to defeat Michael on his own home ground – The Myers house…
