The protagonist is a beleaguered detective named Lucie Hennebelle, who discovers that his friend comes down with a case of spontaneous blindness after watching an extremely rare and spectacularly violent film from the 1950s. The cop discovers that the film has been embedded with subliminal images that those who come in contact with it end up deal. The detective teams with a Paris cop who has been trying to figure out the film’s connection to five men murdered and left in the woods. Together they get to the bottom of what has to be the most disturbing and powerful film ever made. It has global and scientific implications, and its maker might well be the personification of evil and the origins of violence.

TV: Horror Icon Lin Shaye Heads To “Hell” As Gramma Ethel

Insidious and A Nightmare on Elm Street‘s Lin Shaye (pictured below right) will be joining horror icons Bill Moseley and Michael Berryman in the new TV Series Pilot “Hell Hunters”, created by Lawrence Donini and directed by Jourdan McClure, says a press release.

Known for some of the most prolific and horrific characters of all time, Lin Shaye will be playing her most terrifying and grotesque role yet; as the disgustingly demented grandmother of young Hazard, Gramma Ethel.

A semi-odd press release tipped us to IMDB where Michael Biehn (The Divide, Terminator, Aliens) is rumored to play “Ajacks” in new “Hell Hunters” TV Series.

Bill Moseley and Michael Berryman are confirmed to have been cast in Lawrence Donini and director Jourdan McClure’s “Hell Hunters” series that follows “Travis Werner, a young boy in a small town in North Dakota adopts the persona of Ajacks from a 1960s comic book. And as a vigilante crime fighter, continues to hunt down the scum of the earth.

Michael Biehn, also known for roles in Tombstone, The Abyss and Planet Terror, may round out the trio of lead characters alongside Bill Moseley (Hazard) and Michael Berryman (Lawrence Beasley) by playing Ajacks in the series.

TV: Bill Moseley & Michael Berryman Topline ‘Rogue River’ Director’s “Hell Hunters” Pilot

Horror icons Bill Moseley (House of 1,000 Corpses, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2) and Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes) will play the leads in the new cable television series pilot “Hell Hunters”.

“Hell Hunters” is an action/horror/suspense/crime drama/thriller “About two childhood friends from North Dakota who read a comic book and decide to become the murderous vigilante characters in real life.

Bill Moseley will be playing the twisted role of Hazard, the man who grew up killing the scum of the earth under the alias of the comic book character.

Michael Berryman will be playing the role of Lawrence Beasly, the kindhearted World War II Marine Raider veteran who, after surviving a napalm explosion in combat, turns school janitor and teaches the boys hand-to-hand combat.

The series will be directed by Rogue River and Sum of 9 director Jourdan McClure and is scheduled to begin filming this summer. “Hell Hunters” was created by Lawrence Donini, Emily Hansen, AJ Denton, and Corey Keer.
