Linkin Park has teamed up with EA and Medal Of Honor Warfighter to produce their next music video for the track “Castle Of Glass”, which comes off their latest album Living Things (review). The video seems like it will have three different threads in it: the first will be band performance footage that will be, as per usual, heavily effected and digitized, the second is live-action footage shot about soldiers and their struggles, and the third will be in-game footage. You can check out the band interviews as well as video shoot footage in the behind-the-scenes video below.
Starting this Saturday, Linkin Park and Incubus will be hitting the road as co-headliners on the Honda Civic Tour. The 15-date trek sees the bands starting in Bristow, VA at the Jiffy Lube Live and going through to San Diego, CA at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre. Major stops include Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Houston, Denver, and more. Opening support will be coming from Mutemath. You can check out the full tour schedule below and pick up tickets at the official Honda Civic Tour website.
Incubus singer Brandon Boyd explains, “I personally think it’s an occasion that’s kind of long overdue. We have a lot of mutual listeners, our bands, and I think that it’s one of those things that once the idea was floated, and we really kind of caught onto it, that it seemed like, “Why haven’t we done this yet?””
Oh yes, we’ve got another contest lined up for you readers! This time we’re giving away a Linkin Park prize pack that includes a ton of swag from their upcoming album Living Things, which comes out June 26th. The album was co-produced by Rick Rubin (Metallica, Slayer, Nine Inch Nails) and Mike Shinoda. You can find all the prize details and entry requirements below.
