King’s X. Kansas. Touring together. Yeah, this is happening. And it’s not coming ANYWHERE NEAR ME!!! DAMMIT!!! But seriously, how awesome of a tour is this? On top of the two legendary prog-rock bands performing, the one-man band That 1 Guy (Mike Silverman) will open on select dates. Tickets go on sale June 15th, unless otherwise noted. Tour dates are listed below.
King’s X will be touring in support of their latest release Live Love In London, a live offering recorded in 2009 at the Electric Ballroom.
Earlier this year, King’s X drummer Jerry Gaskill suffered a severe heart attack and was hospitalized. Now he states, “Not too long ago I was thinking I might not ever get back on a stage, now I’m ready and with the ok from all my doctors. What better way to get back than to tour with the legendary KANSAS. Let’s rock…”
Original Kansas member Richard Williams (guitars): “We are really looking forward to the upcoming shows with KING’S X. They’re a great band and a force to be reckoned with. It’s a tour like this that allows us to dig a little bit deeper into our catalogue and play a few songs that KANSAS fans haven’t heard for a while. It’s gonna be a lot of fun!” READ MORE
