Maynard James Keenan Shoots Down New Tool Album In 2013

In what may be one of the most depressing things I’ve read today, Blabbermouth is saying that Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan spoke to The Pulse Of Radio’s Chilean Radio Futuro that there will be, “…No new disc. Not this year… I have not written any songs. So no, there is nothing.” According to Tool’s website, the other members (Adam Jones, Justin Chancellor, and Danny Carey) have been hard at work writing the music and are approximately halfway through.

Meanwhile, Keenan will be releasing a new Puscifer EP entitled Donkey Punch The Night on Feb. 19th. The EP will feature some new music as well as a cover of Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
