I don’t know about all of you readers, but I love a good video game. Laying back with an engaging game for an hour or two is a great way for me to relax. Add to that my love of horror, and basically any survival horror game that comes out is bound to end up on my shelf at some point. For all of you survival horror fans out there, you know how important sound and music is in creating the proper atmosphere and the original Dead Space was no exception. To those of you who have played it, you know that it has very engaging and ominous music as well as some masterfully crafted sound effects. So how will the sequel compare? New Avenged Sevenfold Video Featuring Footage From Call Of Duty: Black Opps

It really started around the time the Next Gen systems came out, but the video game, music and movie worlds are colliding like never before. Actors becoming musicians, actors voicing video game characters, musicians becoming actors who voice video game characters and become sports stars. Everything just keeps coming together. New DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN Premiered On Sirius XM, Now Online

The Dillinger Escape Plan premiered a new track on Sirius XM over Christmas titled Farewell, Mona Lisa. The track is off their upcoming album “Option Paralysis” and will be made available as a digital single on January 19.

According to guitarist Ben Weinman, “I Wouldn’t if You Didn’t” was one of the last songs written for the album, “taking DILLINGER to places [we] have never gone before.” Meanwhile, “A Room Full of Eyes”, which Ben dubs as a favorite on the album, is “one of the most intense songs we have ever written.” READ MORE
