Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Recruits Barry F#%king Burton

I almost feel like if it wasn’t for the absolutely TERRIBLE and HILARIOUS voice acting for Barry Burton in the original Resident Evil, he wouldn’t be around today. Either way, his voice actor now is worlds better than back in the day, as we welcome him with open arms to Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

Along with Barry, you can also play as Chris Redfield, Jack Krauser, Hunk, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Rebecca Chambers and Claire Redfield in the game. The levels we will be playing in are remastered stages from Resident Evil 4 and 5. Just when you thought you would only have Resident Evil Revelations to play on the Nintendo 3DS, Capcom announces Resident Evil: The Mercenaries as well. It will include the mercenaries levels from Resident Evil 4 and 5.

The game is said to include some new well known playable characters and new game modes as well. For those who haven’t played, Mercenaries is a timed brawl between you and the infected, but you will also be able to get online with the 3DS’s Wi-Fi and play with other gamers around the globe.
