New ‘Star Trek’ Screens Surface And Then Launch Into The Final Frontier

Star Trek is coming in early 2013 to the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 early next year. I’m pretty excited about the game. Ever since recently jumping into the Mass Effect series I’ve gotten an itch for space games. Hopefully Star Trek will scratch it good. The game features the voices of all the main cast from the recent Star Trek reboot. Check out some awesome new screens and art past the break.

There’s No Shortage Of Guns, Explosions, And Undead Hordes In These New ‘Dead Island: Riptide’ Screens

You like killing zombies with whatever’s near you at the time? Of course you do. Dead Island: Riptide has gamers like you in mind, because it’s all about bashing unsuspecting zombies right in their stupid, ugly heads — or better yet, you can strap a car battery to a machete and cut it to little, electrified giblets. Riptide promises more of what made the first game great, including loads of weapons and beautiful tropical environments brimming with zombies for you to use those weapons on. There’s also a dynamic weather system that can cause flash floods, adding an element of unpredictability to the gameplay. If this sounds like your bag, I highly recommend checking out this new batch of screenshots, after the jump.

‘Mass Effect 3′s’ New DLC Takes You Back To Omega

Mass Effect 3′s next DLC entitled Omega, has you joining up with Aria T’Loak, and Nyreen Kandros. Omega has been taken by Cerberus General Oleg Petrovsky, and Aria needs Shepard’s help to take back the black market station. 4 playable missions will be in the DLC. I’m not sure where in the Mass Effect timeline the DLC falls, but I suppose the only way to find out is to buy it! It comes out November 27th on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. ‘Painkiller Hell & Damnation’, Featuring A Dead Gary Coleman?

Jk jk. Though upon looking at the above image that was exactly what I thought. Painkiller Hell & Damnation was released Halloween only on the PC. Those console gamers will have to wait until January 22nd, 2013 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 releases. Painkiller H&D is a remake of the original Painkiller from 2004. You can play the main campaign 2 player co-op and up to 8 player online multiplayer survival mode. I’ve never played the original but I’m definitely interested in picking this up. Awesome new screens past the break.

‘Enola’ Will Play Even Harder On Your Fear Of Islands

Enola is a mystery horror game for the PC. My best guess for a baby factor, Myst meets Amnesia. Which is an awesome combo. In Enola, like in many games you awaken not knowing who and where you are. You search the island you wake up on for clues, solve puzzles, while trying to find out who you are and how to escape. You can buy the game for $2.50 down from the usual 10 dollars for a limited time from GamersGate. The game is not yet finished, it is in Alpha. However purchasing the game in alpha allows you to play it now in its unfinished state, and you get access to all future updates. Screens, info, and video past the break.

The Creepy Collectors Return In Mass Effect 3′s ‘Retaliation’ DLC

If you played the Mass Effect series and know a bit of its lore, the Collectors posed quite a threat in the second game. Well those punk bitches are back in the Retaliation DLC. That’s not all though. This pack is going to be HUGE. One of my favorites is an addition of “hazards” to the regular maps. Lightening, sandstorms, whiteouts and more.

New weapons, new class kits, new upgrades, some of the enemy factions will be getting new allies to fight against you. This DLC is really going to change the mulitplayer up. You only have to wait until October 9th to get it. Though waiting until Tuesday sucks because there goes your week. You can download it October 9th on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 for free. If only several months back I had known BioWare would be releasing a Mass Effect Trilogy I maybe would have held off on going through the series. Regardless, coming November 6th for $60 bucks you can get all 3 Mass Effect titles in one neat little package. There is no word on whether any of the DLC will be included, but at this point I’m going to guess that it’s not. Past the break for screen shots.

New Afterfall: Insanity Screenshots Are Looking Good

Over 2 years ago I introduced you all to Afterfall: Insanity. We hadn’t really heard much up after that. The game came out almost a year ago to very mediocre scores. The newest version of the game is supposed to be quite a step up from its initial release. Adam also brought it back to us thanks to Steam’s Project Greenlight. I played a demo quite a while back and honestly I was quite bored by it. I’m hoping this updated version can pull it away from it’s 50% Metacritic score. New screens past the break.

Steam just unveiled its majestic and wonderful Big Picture Mode. I was using it lying in bed and scrolling around the fantastic streamlined dashboard on my tv also with an Xbox 360 controller. I decided to splurge and buy myself a game to try with my new set up. To The Moon had previously caught my eye when I noticed a friend bought it. The game was just released on Steam, although it has been out for almost a year. So consider this a late review. The game resembles many of my past, the Super Nintendo era RPG. Though To The Moon is not itself an RPG, did it live up to my extremely high standards? Head past the break to find out.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD Is Out, Time To Do Some Thumb Exercises

Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD came out yesterday and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. It’s been raining quite a bit in Chicago/Chicagoland the past couple days. Don’t get me wrong, I’m ecstatic about it because we’ve pretty much been going through a drought followed by random high humidity heat waves. When I play most Tony Hawk games I want to go out and skate afterwards. But I can’t, so I’ve been inside playing more Tony Hawk instead. Upon the release of the game, it was also announced they are working on even more levels for DLC. The maps in THPS HD are taken from the 1st and 2nd game, the 1st DLC will contain maps from THPS 3. Check out this video as Tony Hawk tells you all about it.

Hopefully the game will do well enough that they will keep releasing new maps as DLC. If you head past the break you can check out a new trailer, tons screenshots, and game features.
