The official Facebook page for Paco Plaza’s [REC] 3 Genesis, which will open in Spain March 30, 2012, was updated with the following theater standee that features the bride protagonist rocking a chainsaw. In the film the virus spreads through a wedding reception causing utter chaos. It’s also the first in the franchise to break out of the found footage model.

The film, written by Luis Berdejo, stars Leticia Dolera and Diego Martin. The success of the first two films (in theaters together raised over 35 million worldwide) have made [REC] 3 Genesis one of the most anticipated horror films inside and outside our borders. READ MORE

 Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Standee an Assault on Your Senses

The main thing I miss about theaters in the ’90s was how I’d walk through the lobby before a movie checking out all of the cool new posters and standees. I’m not sure how it is by you guys, but in Los Angeles most theaters cater to local business instead of upcoming movies, so I don’t get that experience a whole lot, but all I know is that I’d love to have seen the new Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance standee at a theater near me.

As displayed below, it boasts a full image of the darker and grittier Ghost Rider, played again by Nicolas Cage (but actually a bunch of people behind a computer screen with a mouse).

Directed by Crank‘s Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, “still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter – is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Columbia Pictures slated the 3-D sequel for release on February 17, 2012. READ MORE
