It’s Friday, so you know what that means! It’s time for another edition of Twisted Music Video Of The Week! For this week’s selection, we’re turning to Orphic Oxtra‘s Skeletons Having Sex On A Tin Roof. Now, it’s not necessarily a twisted video, but if you don’t ask yourself, “What the hell is going on?” at least once, then you are a crazier person than myself.

On this edition of Twisted Music Video Of The Week, we show Dirge515‘s suggestion of David Firth’s animated video for Aphex Twin‘s Milkman. Definitely not for the light-hearted, this animation features loads of violence and gore with a healthy dose of necrophilia. Check it out below.

We’re gonna go back to Pearl Jam‘s 1998 album Yield for this edition of Twisted Music Video Of The Week by showcasing their video for Do The Evolution! Co-directed by Todd McFarlane (Spawn), the video shows many horrors throughout evolution and couples it with intense, often violent, images. Actually, many of the images always reminded me of Pink Floyd‘s The Wall as well as Heavy Metal. Check it out below and enjoy!

On this edition of Twisted Music Video Of The Week, we’re going a bit more mellow with the music while still keeping some weird, creepy images. After the massive viral succes of the Walk Off The Earth cover of Gotye‘s Somebody I Used To Know, I started checking out more Gotye stuff on YouTube. Coming across this video for Hearts A Mess, I knew that I had to share it with you readers. The song comes from his 2006 album Like Drawing Blood. The music is very atmospheric and the video suits the emotions and mood perfectly, telling the story of a ragtag group of odd robotic creatures who decide to leave Earth for a better place. Enjoy the video below and make sure to leave a suggestion for next week! READ MORE

On this edition of Twisted Music Video Of The Week, BD Infected user peepjerky recommended that we show you all a video featuring, “…skulls, cut open girls, trippy visuals, and is NSFW”. Hell, I’m sold! So, without further ado, below is the video for On’n'On from Justice, which comes off their album Audio, Video, Disco! READ MORE
This edition of the Twisted Video Of The Week is brought to you by Russian band ANJ and their over-the-top love of Mikhail Gorbachev. This video is a few years old, but it’s still as ridiculous and insane as the day that I first saw it. Full of large-breasted women, zombie Stalins, and a Gorbachev that would rival Conan for barbarian buffness, this video should have you either scratching your head or laughing aloud. Hopefully both. Check it out below and let me know what you’d like to see next week! READ MORE

For this week’s edition of Twisted Music Video Of The Week we’re bring back a classic that shocked and entertained you BD Music readers endlessly. Yup, I’m talking about the classic Cephalic Carnage video for Ohrwurm! To say that video was a hit is a total understatement. You readers ate it up, spit it out, made your friend eat it, punched them in the stomach so they’d spit it back up, and then you shared it with your grandmother.
This week’s Twisted Music Video Of The Week brings us something a little more mellow musically but just as weird visually: Boards Of Canada‘s Everything You Do Is A Balloon. The video uses clips from the 1963 bicycle safety film, One Got Fat (which you can download here), and shows several children, all wearing ape masks, dying one by one as they ride their bikes. It counts down much the same way that Ten Little Indians does.
Sorry for the delay on a second edition of Twisted Video Of The Week readers. I was hiking in the himalayas and, well, to make a long story short I’m not married to a Yeti.
