It’s an excellent day for an(other) exorcism.
Following in the footsteps of shows like “True Detective” and “Stranger Things,” which have proven that shorter seasons are perhaps the way to go, we can officially report that FOX’s surprisingly great new series “The Exorcist” will have a ten-episode first season. Sites like IMDb and Wikipedia currently list only six episodes, leading to much confusion, but star @Brianne_Howey just confirmed over on Twitter that there are indeed ten in the inaugural season.
She also teased that Episode 5 is going to be crazy bonkers.
“Tune in next week, it’s honestly the most epic episode to date,” Howey wrote this past Friday night, after live-tweeting the fourth episode.
