Here’s the Schedule for Freeform’s Annual ’13 Nights of Halloween’

The success of Family Channel’s 25 Days of Christmas programming block led to the creation of 13 Nights of Halloween in 1998, an annual tradition that has lived on despite the channel’s numerous branding changes in the past twenty years.

13 Nights of Halloween returns to Freeform on October 19.

This year’s schedule is loaded with family-friendly frights, including the films The Haunted Mansion, The Addams Family, Hocus Pocus, Paranorman, Sleepy Hollow, Dark Shadows and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Halloween episodes from shows such as “Last Man Standing” and “The Middle” will also be part of the block.

Check out some highlights below and see the full schedule on Freeform’s website!

Love that Sleepy Hollow (an R-rated film) is considered family-friendly.

Lol! I was about to post the same thing. It’s got wacky Johnny Depp though!

It’s been a Halloween favorite in my house for forever, so it’s gets a pass.

  • Jack Thompson

So the same few movies they show every year?

Nice that The Final Girls is off the schedule. Seriously, what was up with that?

And let me join the parade of ‘What?!’ re: the presence of Sleepy Hollow.

Really? I came to the comments section upset that it was off the list. That was a sweet addition to an otherwise predictable line up. It’s all Johnny Dep and Hocus Pocus up there and some of that is great but Final girls, although not a Halloween movie, was a good addition to a tired list

So in other words, a Hocus Pocus marathon?

Men in Black!? What is this! My guy, you need the real classics on heyump. I’m talkin Something Wicked, I’m talkin Legend of Sleepy Hollow, I’m talkin Monster Squad! Men in Black tho!?! Monsters inc!?!!? Get it together!

Sorry I’m just very particular about Halloween. Don’t want kids thinking Halloween is all about aliens and mike wazowski. They gotta get the feel of it, the real feel.

      MIB is definitely WTF.
