    *squeals with excitement* 🙂

    They have the best lineup.

    • J Jett

not this current Halloween lineup. it’s just the same bunch of movies again and again.

  • Lotterman

Fearfest has gotten worse and worse and shorter. Used to get a variety of films incuding classic horror. Now it’s just The Halloween movies and Chucky over and over. And come on! Predator isn’t a horror movie! Syfy and TCM blow this AMC BS outa’ the water.

    • Dead2009

Oh there will come a time when there’s enough Walking Dead episodes to fill an entire month’s worth of content, so take it while you can cause eventually Fearfest will be replaced with nothing but Walking Dead.

    • SupernaturalCat

Yeah, TCM (Turner classics) is my go-to every October for classic ’50s ’60s and ’70 Hammer and Amicus productions.
Also, IFC has a much better horror selection (year round) than does AMC. Here’s TCM’s Oct/horror schedule: https://bottomshelfmovies.com/tcm-october-2017-horror-schedule/

god i miss IFC. my cable provider hasn’t carried IFC for a couple of years now (it used to carry it) and i was so pissed when they dropped the channel. it’s a great channel.

        • SupernaturalCat

Yeah, IFC is good stuff. They were even better back some yrs ago, before they were forced into running commercials. But at least they don’t censor content, and do not speed up movies to fit time slots. Over recent yrs IFC has been producing and distributing some solid horror movies…recently watched The Autopsy of Jane Doe, and Devil’s Candy, both of which are definitely worth a watch or two. And as far as IFC shows, Stan Against Evil is a favorite (season 2 begins Nov 1st) along with Canada’s all female cast, Baroness Von Sketch show. Best sketch comedy since Mr Show.

          • J Jett

agreed! IFC has definitely released/produced some great horror films! JANE DOE was one of my top faves of 2016 and DEVIL’S CANDY was really good too (it was great seeing Ethan Embry again!).

  • The Night King

The same people who decided this years line up are the same who think Halloween should return to the Thorn cult storyline.

  • Necro

What the fuck happened AMC?! I mean as a Horror fan I appreciate it, but damn they used to show a VARIETY of films. And seriously…’Hellraiser: Revelations’ really?

  • horrormaker

this suck! Most horror fans own these films. Why put on films that people own? they are not going to bring in the ratings. We can just pop in the dvd or Blu-ray or however you own it, and watch it uncut and commercial free. This just doesn’t make sense.

  • EvilHead1981

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, MonsterFest was better than FearFest. The fact they have House of the Dead, Alien Vs Predator: Requiem, Hellraiser Revelations and Leprechaun Origins proves this selection is full of FAIL! I would fuckin’ prefer stuff like the Ghoulies or CHUD 2: Bud the Chud over movies that that.

  • Matty Ice 2016

Same stuff over and over. No excitement here. Fest is a joke.

    • J Jett

      i agree 100%.

      • Matty Ice 2016

One would think AMC would have one inspired person that could put something fun and scary with some pure thought into screening great stuff. Instead they throw the project into the gorillas cage. AMC tells the viewer’s what they think of them by throwing this uninspired schlock fest at us. An insult to the viewers intelligence for sure.

  • Matty Ice 2016

I could do a better job programming what a joke.

  • J Jett

this some REALLY lazy programming. it’s just the same batch of movies again and again. probably the worst Halloween (the holiday, not the movie franchise) programming AMC has had yet.

  • acidfly

Fuck AMC and their lame Halloween 1-6 suckfest.

  • IBelievePhonies

All edited, censored and commercials not sure how they are HORROR movies anymore.

  • PreshusPryze

1:00 pm Halloween 6: The Curse of Micahel Myers
Hey you guys spelled Michael wrong, he might hunt you down now!

  • Daxtreme

This block was better when it was called Monsterfest and the used to do all these cool promos and bumpers. 2007 was the last great year imo. Then it changed to Fearfest in 2008 and has gotten worse each year.

  • Shalar

Ok on 10/30 at 9:90 pm I can watch Halloween! Who’s spellchecking this garbage?
