Panic and Tension Abound in New Gameplay Trailer for ‘Level Zero’ [Watch]

Published

on

A few weeks back, DogHowl Games and tinyBuild announced Level Zero, their upcoming PvP sci-fi survival horror game. We didn’t get any real gameplay footage of Level Zero at that time, but DogHowl has rectified that with a short-but-sweet gameplay trailer that definitely ups the creep factor for those looking to venture into the game.

Admittedly, we don’t get much in the way of extended gameplay here in the one minute trailer for Level Zero, but we do get to see what those playing as the aliens will see as they hunt down the scientists scrambling to repair the research facility and get the power restored. Likewise, we see the four-player team of scientists scrambling to beat the clock before the backup power is shut off, doing things like repairing consoles and setting up cameras to track the movement by the aliens.

Think of that scene from Aliens where the barricaded marines are having to act fast to escape the approaching wave of Xenomorphs, and you get the idea. No pulse rifles though. Instead, the scientists will be using light as their only defence, which can burn the aliens in an instant.

Level Zero is currently in development for PC via Steam, PlayStation and Xbox consoles for a 2023 release. the to The sign up for the Closed Beta is still on, so head on over to the official site to get in on that.
