‘The Exorcism of Molly Hartley’ Trailer Premiere (Exclusive)
The darkness comes for her again as Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment prepares the sequel to 2008’s The Haunting of Molly Hartley.
Bloody Disgusting has the exclusive extended trailer and artwork premiere for The Exorcism of Molly Hartley, which arrives on Digital HD October 9 and on Blu-ray and DVD October 20.
The trailer, which originally debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con, has shades of The Omen and The Exorcist, and is filled with all sorts of crazy imagery. The biggest selling point, however, is that those who witnessed the haunting/possession can now experience the exorcism…
In the film, “Molly Hartley (Sarah Lind; ‘Wolfcop’) is all grown up, but the unholy demon inside her lives on in this all-new, UNRATED sequel that takes terror to the next level! Six years after graduating high school — and discovering that a secret pact assigned her soul to the devil — Molly is suspected of murder and confined to a mental hospital, where she wreaks supernatural havoc on the staff and patients. Her only hope is an exorcism by a defrocked priest (Devon Sawa; ‘Final Destination’) looking to redeem himself and save Molly’s life before her hideous “transformation” is complete…but Satan has other plans!”
Directed by Steven R. Monroe (I Spit on Your Grave) the UNRATED Blu-ray and DVD features bonus features including a sit-down with experts to discuss the origins of demonic possession, bonus security camera footage giving fans a closer look into Molly’s exorcism and Director Diaries showcasing some of the best scenes from the film.

‘Dancing Village: The Curse Begins’ – Exclusive Clip and Images Begin a Gruesome Indonesian Nightmare
Indonesian filmmaker Kimo Stamboel (Macabre, Headshot, The Queen of Black Magic) is back in the director’s chair for MD Pictures’ Badarawuhi Di Desa Penari (aka Dancing Village: The Curse Begins), a prequel to the Indonesian box office hit KKN Curse Of The Dancing Village. Lionsgate brings the film to U.S. theaters on April 26.

In the horror prequel, “A shaman instructs Mila to return a mystical bracelet, the Kawaturih, to the ‘Dancing Village,’ a remote site on the easternmost tip of Java Island. Joined by her cousin, Yuda, and his friends Jito and Arya, Mila arrives on the island only to discover that the village elder has passed away, and that the new guardian, Mbah Buyut, isn’t present.
“Various strange and eerie events occur while awaiting Mbah Buyut’s return, including Mila being visited by Badarawuhi, a mysterious, mythical being who rules the village. When she decides to return the Kawaturih without the help of Mgah Buyut, Mila threatens the village’s safety, and she must join a ritual to select the new ‘Dawuh,’ a cursed soul forced to dance for the rest of her life.”
Kimo Stamboel directs from a screenplay by Lele Laila.

KKN Curse Of The Dancing Village was the highest grossing film in Indonesian box office history when initially released in 2022. Its prequel is the first film made for IMAX ever produced in Southeast Asia and in 2024, it will be one of only five films made for IMAX productions worldwide. Manoj Punjabi produces the upcoming Indonesian horror prequel.
