Video of Life Size T-Rex Engulfed in Flames is Tragic But Pretty Badass
You ain’t got nothing on this, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The main attractions at the Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience in Canon City, Colorado, a museum and activity center, are massive, life-sized dinosaur models, allowing guests to take selfies with prehistoric giants. It’s home to 16 different life-sized, skinned, animatronic dinosaurs… well, 15 now that a T-Rex tragically lost his life this week.
During business hours yesterday, March 22nd, the Dinosaur Experience’s towering Tyrannosaurus Rex burst into flames due to an “unfortunate and rare electrical issue,” which eventually melted away all of the faux skin and reduced the T-Rex to a metal skeleton. As tragic as it was, the flaming T-Rex was a pretty badass sight to behold.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the accident, and Royal Gorge is already working on bringing in a replacement T-Rex. They’re also in jovial spirits, despite the mishap.
They posted over on Facebook yesterday, “Holy smokes! We always knew T-Rex had a temper but, today he blew his top. There was an unfortunate (and rare) electrical issue with our mighty T-Rex and he is no longer. You might even say… extinct. We are incredibly proud of our team for the way they efficiently and quickly handled this situation and kept our guests safe. All in all, this happened very quickly and we are a little shaken but we are operating business as mostly usual.”
“We hope to have a new T-Rex as soon as possible!” they added.

Psychological Survival Horror Title ‘Puppet House’ Announced for Later This Year [Teaser]
Tropes like haunted houses and possessed dolls are a dime a dozen in horror. But darn it, they’re by and large a lot of fun. Developers Vecube Studio and Spirit Games Studio certainly think so, as they’ve teamed with publisher Gaming Factory to bring us both in Puppet House. Slated for release later this year on Steam, this psychological horror title sees you roaming the mansion of a deceased ventriloquist (or is he?) in search of answers.
In Puppet House, you will take on the role of Rick Evans, a photographer whose interest in haunted places has led him to Field Town, and the home of Peter Hill, an famed ventriloquist who has long since departed this life. Everyone in the town talked about the place, many of them even tried to get inside. Articles have been written about disappearances and screams coming from the walls of the abandoned house, and Rick aims to clear the air about these stories.
From the initial sounds of things, Puppet House will rely on the atmosphere of the old mansion as you wander about the place. However, you soon realize that you’re not the only one in the mansion. As you make your way through the place, solving the various puzzles and avoiding whatever it is that you sense, you’ll happen upon notes and articles that bring you closer to the truth about Peter Hill and his mansion. However, as you might expect, some secrets are best left hidden.
