Go Behind The Scenes in New Developer Video for ‘DREADMOOR’ [Watch]
DREADMOOR made an appearance at the Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest Edition Showcase, with developer Dream Dock and publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the dark fishing adventure.
In the new trailer, Dream Dock CEO Rostislav Fedorov explains that the boat is a lifeline in Submerged Lands – but you’re not stuck on it. You can explore this post-apocalyptic land on foot, meet the survivors who have made it their home, learn about their lives – then gather wits and head back out on the water.
Set out in a rickety fishing boat across a plague-ravaged bayou, where the Sea Blight has twisted all forms of life and developed a new, dangerous ecosystem. Scavenge for supplies amidst the wreckage of doomed vessels, and craft specialized fishing gear to hunt the vicious denizens of Submerged Lands. Beware, though: for a big enough fish, anything looks like a meal – including you.
Fill up the ship’s hold with precious predatory fish, then sell them to Gill and Bozur at the local tackle shop – it’s hard to miss, perched on a set of behemoth crab legs. Or dissect the catch and use valuable parts to fashion more advanced bait, then fuel up the ship and head out on the water to seek ever more dangerous prey.
“We’re honored to be part of this summer’s Day of the Devs showcase,” Fedorov said. “In addition to being game developers, we’re all huge fishermen at Dream Dock, and we’re hoping to share that passion – in our own twisted way – with DREADMOOR.”
DREADMOOR is still slated for release later this year on Steam.

Season 4 Update “Operation: Shadow Hunter” Now Available for ‘Killing Floor 3’ [Trailer]
Following March’s seasonal update, Killing Floor 3 has its fourth seasonal update, “Operation: Shadow Hunter” , available now for free for a limited time on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, the PlayStation 5 and the XBOX Series. And to celebrate the game’s first anniversary since its launch, Tripwire Interactive has made Killing Floor 3 free-to-play for a limited time on all platforms from July 23 through July 27.
Operation: Shadow Hunter sees Nightfall specialists venture to the Nordic North Sea to explore a mire-infested oil rig and the horrors it has unleashed. Joining the team to explore the new map is the highly-anticipated Gunslinger perk, which includes an armory of dual-wielded pistols and high-tech gadgets for dispatching Zeds and the second phase of dual-wield support for the remaining sidearms.
The update also introduces the elusive Dr. Moorcroft as a new boss and adds a ‘Suicidal’ difficulty level, giving players a challenge between ‘Hard’ and ‘Hell-on-Earth” currently in-game. Players can also expect a Supply Pass refresh with free and paid tracks, performance optimizations, new achievements, quality of life improvements and more.
As for the free-to-play period, new players will have access to the full game, including the latest seasonal update, and all other updates including the recently added Onslaught map and text chat support. All progress will be saved and available after purchasing the game, with all three editions and Seasonal DLC Passes on all platforms discounted 50% off their regular price.
Tripwire also revealed the latest roadmap for Killing Floor 3, detailing the content ahead, including the return of popular seasonal events and a first look at plans for mod support across all platforms.
