After teasing fans with glimpses of the Collector’s Edition of METRO 2039, Deep Silver and 4A Games have opened up pre-orders for the Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s Edition ahead of the game’s release next year. In addition, 4A Games has revealed the universal pre-order bonus in the Specialist Pack for those who spring for the game ahead of launch.
The pack includes three blueprints, delivering early unlocks for three unique, swappable backpack upgrades. Blueprints are a new feature in METRO 2039, encouraging exploration and allowing you to craft upgrades and attachments for weapons and gear. The pre-order bonus gives players a head start to The Stranger’s journey into the Metro, but choose wisely: you can only equip one upgrade at a time.
Here’s what you get:
- Equipment Specialist Pouch – For gunsmiths who want to focus on crafting advanced weapons and gear more quickly.
- Chemtech Specialist Pouch – For explorers who want to brave radioactive areas with more gas mask filters and cleaner, more reliable equipment.
- Munitions Specialist Pouch – For marksmen looking to find and use rarer, more powerful ammunition types in their firearms.
Three editions of METRO 2039 are available to pre-order across all platforms, with the Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition each including the full game. Both the Standard and Deluxe Editions are available digitally and physically.
Also, the Deluxe Edition will include METRO 2039’s Story Expansion DLC, which will arrive post-launch. More details on the expansion are to be shared in the future.
Digital Deluxe Edition owners will also be getting the digital art book and the official soundtrack, while physical Deluxe Edition owners will receive an exclusive SteelBook, hardback art book and exclusive packaging.
The Collector’s Edition, which includes the physical Deluxe Edition, features the wearable replica Spartan Helmet.
METRO 2039 will launch February 4th, 2027 for the Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
