While we wait for director Jon Turteltaub’s The Meg, releasing this August, now is the perfect time to either revisit or read, for the very first time, the novel that the film is an adaptation of. That’d be author Steve Alten‘s Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror, originally published in July 1997. Now that it’s been 20 years, an anniversary edition is on the way.
The movie edition re-release of Alten’s The Meg, featuring the movie’s poster as its cover, will be arriving on July 6, and the book gets its very own poster this week to promote the release. We’ve been loving the posters for The Meg, and the book’s is pretty kickass too.
