Over ten years ago, you may recall, publisher Black Flame put out of a handful of paperback novels set within the worlds of the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th franchises, including several Jason X books. All of those books have gone out of print now that Black Flame is no longer around, and they fetch pretty high prices when you can find them.
If you haven’t been able to track the books down, or simply don’t wait to pay inflated prices to read them, you’ll probably want to check out the YouTube channel The 80s Slasher Librarian, just brought to our attention by user @Rechan over on Reddit/Horror. The channel is dedicated to providing audio book-style narration for the out of print books!
At the time of writing this article, the channel has thus far narrated Friday the 13th: Church of the Divine Psychopath and Nightmare on Elm Street: Suffer the Children.
In Church of the Divine Psychopath…
