‘Deadpool 2’ Trailer Reveals Itself as an ‘X-Force’ Prequel!
Holy. Fucking. Shit.
After months of teasing, 20th Century Fox has just released the first full trailer for Deadpool 2 that’s action-packed, violent, and hysterical. With reports coming in that it’s testing even higher than the first film, this trailer delivers on all fronts setting up what could be this summer’s great superhero movie.
With that, it’s even bigger than it looks…
The trailer not only reveals several new characters, including Josh Brolin‘s hotly-anticipated Cable and Zazie Beetz’s Domino, but it announced itself to be an official prequel to X-Force, the super popular New Mutants spinoff from Marvel comics! It’s been a long time since I got excited goosebumps…
Here’s the only synopsis provided for the film in theaters May 18, 2018:
“After surviving a near-fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.”
David Leitch (John Wick) is directing from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
