Writer Gary Dauberman has fast become a force to reckoned with in the horror space, having written hit films Annabelle: Creation, IT, The Nun and the upcoming IT: Chapter Two. This week, he makes his debut on the comic book scene in DC’s Cursed Comics Cavalcade #1, a horror anthology comic that tells 10 terrifying tales of heroes meeting horror.
Dauberman contributed a Batman horror story to the comic, on shelves TODAY.
THR details, “Dauberman’s story, illustrated by Riccardo Federici, is just one of 10 stories in the one-shot issue. Other stories include a Wonder Woman short by Vita Ayala and Victor Ibanez, a Superman story by Magdalene Visaggio and Minkyu Jung, and a revival for Jack Kirby’s The Demon by Gabriel Hardman and Corinna Bechko.”
